Jackie Doucette is a Carpinteria based artist and art educator who weaves a love of living by the ocean, reflections on parenting, and a joy of the everyday ordinary in her work. Her creative practice is an ongoing experiment inspired by life, nature, and the chaos of raising little humans. She combines analog techniques — acrylic paint, watercolor, collage and linework — to build warm and engaging visuals. 

When not working from her kitchen table “studio” or painting during naptime, Jackie can be found catching ankle high waves at Rincon, teaching creative mess making to the K through 8th crowd, biking around town with her kids, and snagging bites of Dang Burger with family and friends.
